During the class study, you will practice with the saws, texturing metal, soldering jump rings, creating balled head pins, annealing metal.
The next phase is creating a sterling silver hammered texture ring. This is where you put into practice what you learned.
This class is an introduction to metalsmithing. It is geared toward projects you can do with a small handheld butane torch. These torches do not produce the heat required for larger scale projects. This course does not cover bezel settings.
Class times are generally available on Thursday or Friday at 10 AM
Class length is usually 4 hours
Classes are designed for one person. Maximum of two if friends or family.
